Early morning sunlight is broken by the rustling leaves all around. Dappling the ground at Magnus' feet, the light rakes across his body as he walks the same circle, again and again.

The same cool breeze that agitates the trees tousles his blond hair. His arms are held out, relaxed but firm in a pose that suggests whatever it is that he is doing has, or had at one time, some martial context.

This area of the park is notably busy, considering the hour, but his hustle is countered by the relaxed, unconcerned gaze on the Scandinavian's face. A small, passive smile graces his otherwise stern lips.

The bastardisation of tai-chi and circular dance continues with little sign of exertion from the blond-haired player. Having said that, a stain of perspiration has begun to blossom on his back, between his shoulder-blades.

He is dressed simply, in loose-fitting clothing. A nearby holdall, apparently abandoned on the ground nearby, also appears to belong to him. Protruding from it's zip, a simple white towel and drink bottle.

Logan walked quietly through the park, the leaves crunching under her feet. She wasn't usually one for being up this early in the morning and it surprised her how busy the park was at this time of day. The breeze suddenly changed direction, ruffling Logan's short auburn hair and bringing the scent of Garou to her nostrils. She followed the scent and found the Garou. The stranger was a blond, middle-aged man and he appeared to be doing some bizarre form of tai-chi. Logan watched the man curiously, unsure of whether to approach him or not.

His circle continued to be paced a few more time while he added some deep lunges and moves which looked very chinese and impressive - calling to mind thoughts of chop-sockey marathons on late night cable television.

Eventually, his progress slowed and he turned into face the circle, closing down whatever it was he was doing with a calming, tai chi-like combination of arm waving and breathing exercises. All done, he stood motionless for a moment, the wind still playing with his hair, sleeves and trousers as he slowed his breathing.

And then, he was apparently back to normal. He moved toward his bag. Wiping himself down with the towel was clearly his primary concern. Then a small sip from his bottle. Both were placed back into his bag before he slung it casually over his shoulder.

He moved almost immediately toward the woman who had provided his audience for the last few minutes. A soft smile on his lips, his face became more serious as the wind brought her scent to him.

He nodded, "Good Morning... Miss...". His manner was cool and calm. He must've felt an explanation was necessary as he soon added, "As it was a pretty nice day, I came out here to practice..."

Logan looked at the man as he spoke to her. "Mornin', laddie. Fair enough. I'm not really into tai-chi. Don't get up early enough, usually." She brushed her fringe out of her face. Logan wondered how the man would react to being called "laddie." She uses a lot of Scottish words and has a rather strong Scottish accent.

The smile that appeared on the guy's lips gave the impression that it wasn't a frequent visitor to that particular face. His deep voice was amiable enough, though.

"It works just as well in the evening...", he replied. He considered correctly the young woman, telling her it was Baguazhang that he was practicing, not Tai Ch'i. After all, as a passtime it was woefully underpopulated. The art could use all the PR it could get. He thought better of it, though.

His accent, though not as strong as the Scot's, was equally out of place here. Each of them would perhaps be more at home thousands of miles away. Briefly, Magnus wondered what could have torn this woman away from the land of her birth to bring her here to this place. He surmised it would probably involved a tale similar to his own.

Seemingly, the martial artist was not bothered in the slightest by what the young woman had called him. His only other response was to introduce himself. "I'm Magnus, by the way..." He offered his hand in greeting.

Logan looked Magnus as he smiled at her. There was something forced about that smile, like the Scandinavian man hardly ever smiled. Logan smiled back at him. "I'll take your word for it", she said quietly. Logan wasn't that interested in tai-chi, but she thought about giving it a try. She took Magnus' offered hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Logan."
