Hey guys!

Just a quick reminder about Final Night's policy on post order, especially concerning Site Wide Plots (SWPs):

Since there are usually four or more people per SWP, we've established a posting order, to keep things flowing and avoid confusion (all right here in the Rules!). This way, everyone gets a chance to reply to what has happened/what has been said before the next bit of action happens. For anyone not familiar with the concept of a posting order, here's a quick example:

Bob starts the thread. Frank replies to Bob. Sally enters the thread next, and replies to what Bob and Frank have established while still introducing her character to the thread. No new characters enter the thread for a week since the initial post, so Bob replies again, followed by Frank, followed by Sally. The order goes Bob-Frank-Sally-Bob-Frank-Sally until the thread ends or one of the characters leaves.

If a character wants to join the thread after the initial posts have been made and the players involved or the mod running the SWP agrees, they are welcome to step in! This will alter the posting order. For example:

Bob, Frank, and Sally have all posted twice ina SWP. However, Loretta wants to join the thread with her character. Bob, Frank, and Sally agree to let Loretta join, and she posts after the next cycle ends. So, the new posting order is Bob-Frank-Sally-Loretta-Bob-Frank-Sally-Loretta until the thread ends or a character leaves the thread.

We're super psyched that players are excited enough to want to reply as soon as they see an update, and while we definitely encourage active players (really, we love you guys!), we do ask that players in any SWPs please keep to the established posting order of a thread. This makes things easier on the mods who push the threads forward and the other characters who are involved.

Any questions can be left here or directed to any of your mod team via PM!

((PLEASE NOTE: If a player hasn't taken their turn in a week since the last post, they can be post-jumped to keep things moving. So if you're up next, but don't reply for a week, the next person in line is free to pass you up, and you can jump back in on your next turn.))

((This thread will serve as a "database" of sorts for the Site Wide Plots of each venue on the board, and will be constantly updated as new threads are added or old ones are completed. Feel free to step into any active SWP that your character's usergroup is involved with!))

Guess what?

Okay, so it's already May, but the May Activity check has yet to pass, so y'all can deal with early 2000s Justin Timberlake and like it.

You know the drill by now; post a reply here letting the mods know which characters you plan on keeping, and you and said characters will stick around for the rest of the month. If you don't reply or you miss the deadline, we'll move your character accounts and any OOC accounts to the Inactive usergroup, and if you come back any time in the future and want to reactivate them, we'll move 'em on back.

The deadline for this activity check is May 7th. Anyone who replies will keep their accounts active until June.

(Also, this is a great time to let the mods know if you want to inactivate/shelf any characters, as we'llbe double checking here on the 7th before we move anyone to the Inactive group!)

Harry Potter House Sorting Game

We have a nerdy Pokemon Game, so why not a Harry Potter one too? This game's pretty simple; use your OOC account to list all your characters and which house they'd be in from the Harry Potter series. If you need a quick refresher on which house is which, here you go!

"You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart"

"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"

"Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends."

"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind."

Also known as "Fuck, Marry, Kill", but we're a goddamn classy site so I PG'd the topic title up a bit!

For anyone not familiar with this game, it goes like this: I'll put down any three characters on the board list-style, and the person who replies has to decide which one of those characters they'd marry, which one they'd get down and dirty with, and which one they'd bash over the head with a shovel. Answers should be IN-CHARACTER for added lulz. You can list any three characters you'd like, whether they're yours or not, but at least one has to be the character you replied with.

***If you don't want your characters to be used in this game let me know and I'll put up a list of here of everyone who's off-limits!***

A full list of all the characters on the board can be found HERE

Okay, I'll start and answer with a character account so everyone can see how it's done.
